Shankar leads the Program Management Office at Coscend Communications Solutions. He is a Member of Architects' Guild.
Shankar brings to Coscend around a decade of experience in the communications companies spanning across telecommunications and multimedia segments. At Verizon Communications, Thomson Multimedia, Channel 7 and PepsiCo, he developed and enhanced mobile, multimedia, Web-based and other smart device applications and platforms. His contributions have helped increase efficiency, and reduce costs of software development as well as accelerate time to market new applications to customers.
Shankar has:
- Designed and developed SOA-based applications for customer order management systems as well as integrated these applications with various partner systems, toll free network management systems, and outbound network management systems;
- Implemented smart device-based, Windows-based and Web-based applications to enable business functions;
- Automated testing of protocols, developed applications to edit multimedia, and implemented applications that automated the workflow at a multimedia company; and
- Developed various Web services and Windows services.

Shankar has earned a Bachelor and Master of Science in Computer Science from India.
