Customer Operations Leader

Susheel is responsible for expanding engineering and customer operations of the company.  Susheel brings the necessary experience in software engineering that is needed to develop and launch innovative products to the market.  Susheel has designed, developed and deployed software solutions on digital Class 5 switches as ISDN services for advanced intelligent network; and back-office software systems for next-generation networks serving mid to large communication service providers.  This helped him build expertise in network management, database and grid solutions, process improvement and integration and multi-site product development initiatives.

While leading software engineering initiatives at Nortel Networks, Nayna Networks, TCS and Alphion, Susheel has:

Doubled the rate of feature delivery and tripled the rate of issue resolutions for element management system products for a family of fiber optic network infrastructure, thereby resulting in higher customer traction.

Improved service provisioning and service impact analysis times by 20 to 30%, thereby leading to significant improvement in network and service KPI measures for a national service provider by architecting and implementing Cramer-based centralized network management system with rules-based order fulfilment, design-assign automation and integration with fault and performance management platforms.

Enabled rapid and integrated management of security and networking features for Layer 2 and Layer 3 secure access switch that helped gain initial traction at customers, as the novel integrated access device achieved 50% efficiency improvement in access network and breakthrough element management system-agent software increased capacity by 600%.

Attained multiple zero-defect deliveries including innovative call processing features for ISDN services such as call forwarding/transfer and 1-800-services that significantly improved both revenue and cost for service providers, while improving service to users.

Assisted a customer, Systemhouse, win the 10-year Canadian defence ministry global inventory project by enabling an easy and user-friendly query into defense inventory status that used 28-screen hierarchical query system utilizing UnifAce (multi-database CASE tool), SQL and RDBMS.

As an industry contributor, Susheel has presented at public events including The Economic Times “Power of Ideas” business plan contest, and global and national conferences on engineering that were organized by International Society for Computers and Their Applications.

Susheel has earned a Master of Computer Science from Carleton University, Canada, and a Bachelor of Engineering (honors) in Computer Science from University of Allahabad, India.

He was a recipient of National Talent Search Scholarships for 6 years. He participated in numerous sports, and represented his school in cricket in senior years.
